Lisa Kudrow (Friends) returns to television and stars as Valerie Cherish, the former "B-list" star of a 1989 sitcom called "I'm It!" who becomes so desperate to regain the spotlight that she agrees to star in a new reality television show called "The Comeback," with cameras following her every move as she lands a part on a new network sitcom about four singles living in a condo. Totally scripted, The Comeback explores the madness of television, a Beverly Hills lifestyle, and the bravery of a comic-tragic 40-year-old woman who is slowly sinking.
